  15. Love that they are festive but still within your cookie style! Sometimes with the wet-on-wet technique, I get a little bit of bleeding once the cookies are dry. How do you combat this? I've heard that if you wait a little while between flooding and adding the wet detailing that helps. What do you think? Do you always add the "wet" details immediately after flooding?

    1. Thanks! I do add the second color immediately when doing the wet on wet technique. The bleeding issue could be because of the recipe you are using or it could be because there is too much food coloring in the icing. Try using as little as possible to achieve the color that you need. Thank you for your comment!

  18. I spent the whole day going through your blog. You are very talented and your ideas are gorgeous.
I have 2 questions for you. How do you reach this beige color? I love it.
And what about stacking cookies onto each other? I mean when you send them how do you package them? Can you stack them or not? There's no risk to break the decorations?

    1. Thank you!
This color is a mixture of black and brown.
I package my cookies with lots of tissue paper and bubble wrap so that the decorations don't get damaged during shipping.

  20. Your creations are so beautiful! I have followed you for awhile now, but always wondered something... I notice you often say let the cookies dry for a few hours or overnight, but I am always afraid if I leave them out they will go stale. Do you seal them somehow when drying or are they ok left out for some amount of time?

Thanks for sharing some of your secrets with us. You are truly talented :).

    1. Thank you! Here is a link to my post about royal icing:

You can store it in the refrigerator in an air tight container for up to 10 days.

    2. Thank you so much. But after you store it do you use the paddle again to do for example the bead border?

      Thank you

    3. You should mix the icing again after it's been in the fridge for a day or more. You can put it back in the mixer, but I usually just mix it again by hand because I work with a relatively small amount at a time.
