Thanks for sharing. I tried this with a really cheap wilton brush and it was very sloppy. I'll try again, but I think I'm better off ordering one of these beauties from you!!
Hi Amber...I've been missing you. You must be busy! Thanks for the tutorial...I love watching how you do stuff. I'm always eager to see what you're doing next!
That's so sweet Sharon!! I'm glad you like this tutorial. I've been busy getting my display ready for a bridal show this weekend. I will share pics next week!
I think it is sooo thoughtful of you to take the time to put up these tutorials........we know you don't have to, but LOVE it when you do! I was just wondering about how you did this TODAY...so imagine my surprise!
Thank you, thank you. I have my first stencilled cake to do next week and it has to be gold. I didn't know what colour to have my icing before painting and you have solved my dilemma. Thank you, your work is beautiful and inspiring.
Your work is amazing! I love watching your video tutorials. Thank you for sharing. I am new in cookie decorating and your tutorials are very helpful. Can you dissolve the luster dust in water instead of alcohol?

i have a hard time getting the "paints" out of my bristles. sometimes i just cannot seem to get the previous color out. do you have any suggestions?!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny! I usually just rinse my brush and dab it on a paper towel to get the color out before washing it. What brand of color are you using?

Thank you so much!
DeleteThe luster dust can only be used as paint if you use alcohol. If you use water, it will just dissolve the icing. Thanks for your comment!
