Spring Cookies

This year I felt like doing something a little different for my spring cookie line. I knew I wanted to somehow incorporate the basket weave technique, but I didn't want to make a basket cookie... again. And so, the spring hat line was born. Along with the basket weave, I also used the brush embroidery technique and the roses are hand painted using a mixture of gel paste food coloring and a few drops of vodka.
