Claire Pettibone at Jaehee Bridal Atelier

A few months ago I was so honored to be able to provide cookies for the Claire Pettibone runway show at New York International Bridal Week.

I recently had another opportunity to make cookies for a Claire Pettibone event, which took place at Jaehee Bridal Atelier located in Englewood, NJ (coincidentally within walking distance of my grandmother's store, Jewel Spiegel Gallery).

This design, which I call the filigree cookie, is made by using the wet on wet royal icing technique. I flood the cookie with thinned beige icing and immediately pipe the filigree using thinned blue icing and a tip 1. After the icing is completely dry, I add the bead border and paint it gold using Wilton's gold pearl dust.
